How Booking Works

1. DIFFERENT WAYS TO BOOK

I offer a few different ways to book because I know not everyone can book in exactly the same way.

My availability calendar is colour coordinated, so you can easily see what type of availability I have before you message me.

The calendar shows:

Bullet list:

  • Pre-booked days — dates that can be booked in advance with a deposit, or by regular clients who don’t need to pay a deposit.
  • Available / no-deposit days — selected dates where daytime bookings can be made without a deposit.
  • Unavailable days — dates when I’m not available.
  • Booked times — times that have already been taken, so you can see what is still available.

I’ll keep the calendar updated as bookings are made, so please check it before messaging me. If you’re unsure what a colour or availability means, just ask me and I’ll explain.

2. PRE-BOOKED DAYS

These are dates that aren’t advertised as no-deposit days, so if you’d like to secure one of these dates in advance, a deposit will normally be required.

Regular clients who I know and have booked with before don’t need to pay a deposit, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

If you’d like to pre-book a date, please give me as much notice as possible. The more notice you give me, the easier it is for me to make sure I can keep the date and time you’ve requested free for you.

Pre-booking also gives you more flexibility when choosing the date and time you’d like.

3. ADVERTISED NO-DEPOSIT DAYS

I also have selected dates that are advertised as no-deposit days.

These dates are available to book without paying a deposit, making them a good option if you’d rather just arrange everything and pay when we meet.

Daytime bookings on these dates are first come, first served, so if you see a date and time you’d like, please message me as soon as possible.

Your booking isn’t secured until we’ve spoken and I’ve confirmed the date and time with you.

The day before your booking, I’ll message you to confirm that you’re still coming. If I haven’t heard back from you by 5pm that day, I’ll release your time slot and offer it to someone else.

If you don’t respond and your booking is released, I won’t accept any further bookings from you. This is simply because I need to know that people are going to turn up for the time they’ve asked me to keep free for them.

4. EVENING BOOKINGS

Bookings from 5pm onwards require a deposit to confirm, including evening bookings on an advertised no-deposit day.

The deposit comes off your total, with the remaining balance paid when we meet.

Evening bookings also have a minimum booking charge of 2 hours, although you don’t have to stay for the full 2 hours if you don’t want to.

5. HOW TO BOOK

There are a couple of ways you can get in touch and arrange your booking.

You can use my booking system to request the date and time you’d like. Nothing is confirmed until I’ve checked and approved your booking. You won’t be asked to pay a deposit through the booking system — if a deposit is required, I’ll send you a separate payment link once I’ve approved your booking.

You can also contact me directly by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Just send me:

Bullet list:

  • The date you’d like
  • Your preferred time
  • How long you’d like to book for
  • What services or experience you’re looking for
  • Anything else you’d like to tell me or ask

One message is enough. I may be busy with other things, with another client, working, or simply away from my phone, so please give me time to get back to you. I’ll reply as soon as I can.

Please don’t send a message and then immediately call me because I haven’t replied yet. If you call before I’ve had a chance to respond, I won’t answer the call. I prefer to deal with enquiries by message first.

No question is silly. If there’s something you’re unsure about, just ask me. I’d much rather you ask beforehand than sit there afterwards wishing you’d asked.

I like to get as much sorted as possible before we meet, as it makes everything feel much more relaxed and takes away some of that pressure when you arrive.

6. LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS

Sometimes I can fit in last-minute bookings, but this will depend on my availability and what my day looks like.

Last-minute bookings are mainly available on my no-deposit days and are first come, first served. If you see an available time on the calendar, message me as soon as possible and I’ll let you know if it’s still available.

Last-minute bookings on my pre-booked days aren’t normally possible, unless my calendar specifically shows a time as available.

Please don’t assume that because my calendar looks quiet I’m automatically available — I may have other plans or things already arranged.

If you see a time marked as available, just message me and I’ll confirm whether I can fit you in.

7. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING — PRE-BOOKED BOOKINGS

I understand that sometimes things happen and plans have to change.

If you’ve paid a deposit:

  • 48+ hours before — your deposit can be refunded or your booking can be moved to another date.
  • 24–48 hours before — 50% of the deposit can be refunded or your booking can be moved to another date.
  • Less than 24 hours — the deposit is normally non-refundable.

Genuine requests to reschedule may be considered at my discretion.

If you don’t attend your booking and don’t contact me, no refund will be given.

8. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS — NO-DEPOSIT DAYS

As there is no deposit paid for bookings on my advertised no-deposit days, there isn’t a deposit to refund if you need to cancel.

However, please don’t book a time unless you’re genuinely planning to come. When I agree to a no-deposit booking, I’m keeping that time free for you and turning away other potential bookings.

If you don’t turn up, it’s me who loses out financially. I still have the cost of the hotel and other expenses to cover, even though you haven’t paid a deposit.

I offer no-deposit days because I know some people genuinely can’t pay a deposit and I try to keep everyone happy and make it easier for people who genuinely want to come and see me. Please don’t make me regret offering them.

If something comes up and you can’t make your booking, just let me know as soon as possible. I completely understand that sometimes things happen — it’s the lack of communication that causes the problem.

If you don’t turn up, cancel at the last minute without a genuine reason, or don’t respond when I contact you to confirm your booking, I won’t accept any future bookings from you.

A quick message is all I ask. I’d much rather you tell me you can’t make it so I can offer your time to someone else, rather than leave me sitting there waiting for you.

9. TRAVEL BOOKINGS

For bookings where I need to travel further afield, there will be additional travel and accommodation costs. These will always be discussed with you beforehand, so you know exactly what is needed before we confirm your booking.

Any fuel and travel costs must be paid upfront before I travel. I won’t set off until these have been received, as I’m covering the cost of getting to your location.

If the booking requires me to stay overnight, accommodation for me will also need to be arranged and paid for in advance.

I will need either my own room or a room with twin beds. I won’t share a bed with a client as part of the accommodation arrangements.

If you’d prefer, you can send me the fuel and travel money and book the hotel yourself. That’s absolutely fine. Once you’ve made the booking, just send me a screenshot of the hotel booking/confirmation so I have the details I need.

Alternatively, I can arrange the accommodation for you and include the cost in the booking arrangements.

You don’t need to stay overnight yourself — the accommodation requirement is simply so I have somewhere suitable and comfortable to stay if the distance means I can’t reasonably travel home after the booking.

Any travel, fuel, accommodation or other additional costs will always be discussed and agreed with you before the booking is confirmed, so there are no surprises.

10. FIRST TIME BOOKING?

If this is your first time booking with someone like me, or you’ve simply never seen me before, please don’t worry if you’re not sure what to do, what to say or how everything works.

I don’t expect you to know. It’s my job to explain things to you and make sure you understand what you’re booking.

I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, so you’re not expected to know everything that I do. I’ve got plenty of experience and I’m happy to talk you through things and answer any questions you might have.

As a respectful business owner, I’ll make sure you’re informed about my services, booking policies, boundaries and anything else you need to know before we meet.

If you’ve got questions, concerns or you’re unsure about something, just ask me. You don’t need to feel embarrassed or think you should already know the answer — that’s what my experience is there for.

I’ll talk you through everything beforehand so you know what to expect and we can both feel comfortable with the arrangements.

11. QUESTIONS

No question is silly. Even if you’ve never done this before, remember that everyone has to start somewhere.

And even if you’ve done this a million times before, it’s completely normal to still get nervous or have questions. Everyone is different and every booking is different.

I also know there are people out there who sometimes feel like they’re not seen, not heard, or that they’re somehow different from everyone else. And you know what? That’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with being different. Sometimes it’s just about finding your confidence and getting yourself to where you want to be.

Trust me, a lot of what you’re feeling is probably what most men are feeling too — they just don’t always show it.

I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, so believe me, I’ve seen and heard it all . You don’t need to feel embarrassed about asking me something.

And if you’ve made a booking but you’re feeling nervous afterwards, please don’t sit there thinking I’m going to be angry, cross with you or block you if you change your mind. I’m not.

If you communicate with me, it’s completely fine to cancel, arrange a different date, change the amount of time you’ve booked, or even change what we’d originally planned to do. Things can change, nerves can kick in and sometimes you simply realise you need something different.

The most important thing is communication.

Remember, you’re paying for my time — not for something that has to happen just because you’ve made a booking. What happens during that time is something we can talk about and agree together, so stop putting all that pressure on yourself.

If there’s something you want to know, just ask. If there’s something I’ve never come across before or I don’t know the answer to, that’s fine too — we’ll look into it together and see if we can make it happen.

I’d much rather you talk to me than sit there worrying about whether you should.
